I called Rebecca at college all the time, and I spent lots of time with Joshua. Despite all this, the fact of the matter is that I'm a family oriented kind of girl and I'm used to a house full of kids.

Rosemary: I invited Janine over (Patrick had to stay home with little Dylan- he was too young to be out and about just yet) and asked her about when she and Patrick planned on moving back in.
Janine: It's only a little longer, Rosemary. Once Emily graduates from college, I'm giving her the house and then we'll move in here.
Rosemary: Are you sure you two are fine by yourself, though? I know you're both working-
Janine: We're doing fine. Little Dylan gets all the attention he could possibly need. You can grandmother him as much as you want soon enough.
Rosemary: Whatever you say, dear.

Rosemary: Realizing that I'd just have to wait until the kids graduated to have a full house to take care of again, I found other things to persue. With all the peace and quiet, I found I was able to start writing novels again. I was quite the author when I was younger, you know. After I had kids, however, I just didn't have time for it.

Rosemary: The finished product turned out great. I guess I still had a knack for writing after all! After the first one, I wrote a few more. Each book was a best-seller, and the money helped me redecorate the house a bit. Now I could relate to why Joshua was so obsessed with selling paintings.

Rosemary: I fixed the house up in other ways, too. I planted a few bushes out on our lawn, and I'm thinking about starting a garden. What's better than a salad made of fresh garden-picked vegetables?
