Rosemary: So I'm thinking tomorrow we should take the girls out shopping for bridesmaid dresses.
Patrick: Sounds great, Mom.

Emily: How's this?
Rosemary: No, much too short for a wedding. Put it back.

Emily: She's not even my grandmother and she's driving me insane!

Emily: Between dress shopping...

...and mailing invites,

Emily: It's a wonder I have any time for my boys! I mean, I'm supposed to be busy getting ready for college, not getting ready for my mom's wedding. Can't you get Rosemary to like, chill out some?

Rebecca: It's just a few more days. Anyways, if this is Grandma's way of coping with Grandpa's death, let her cope.

Emily: Finally the wedding came. As annoying and stressful as all the planning had been, the final product was actually pretty cool.

Emily: And Rebecca and I are now sisters, which is like totally awesome. Too bad we're both leaving for college now. It would have been fun to share a bedroom or something.

Patrick: Thanks for all the help, Mom.
Rosemary: Not a problem, dear. I hope you and Janine have a nice life together.

Patrick: The next morning Emily left for college. It had been decided that Janine and I would have an extended honeymoon in the house until Emily returned.

Patrick: We participated in the usual honeymoon activities...

Patrick: ...as well as the not so usual.

Patrick: All in all, the marriage was off to a good start. As long as Janine doesn't discover what I really do for a living, life should be great.
