Derrick: All my life I wanted a younger sibling, so I wouldn't always be the baby of the family. Well, now I've got a little brother, and it's not all it's cracked up to be. If Ashton doesn't need a bottle, he needs a diaper change. And who gets stuck changing all the diapers? Me, cause both my parents are at work.

Derrick: I was more than relieved when Ashton's birthday came along. Now he was old enough to potty train, which meant no more dirty diapers for me!

Derrick: That same night Mom told us she had an announcement.
Jacklyn: I'm pregnant again! With twins!
Michael: This is fantastic news!
Derrick: For him, maybe. But for me? That's two times the diapers to change! Plus there's still a toddler in the house who needs feeding. I'm supposed to be preparing to go off for college, not running a daycare. But since complaining wouldn't change anything now, I kept all this to myself. Mom was going to have the twins if I liked it or not.

Derrick: At least I had Jayden to talk to. She was coming around the house a lot more often than normal...

Derrick: But I think that had a lot more to do with Ashton than it did with me! Jayden absolutely loves kids, and she was constantly holding him and playing with him.

Derrick: And you have to admit.. my little brother is pretty adorable.

Derrick: Finally Mom's due date came along and the twins were born. That's Carly in mom's arms, and Carson is the one Dad's feeding. They look exactly alike right now and it's really hard to tell them apart, but I'm sure that will get easier as they get older.

Derrick: Of course, the twins' births weren't the only memorable thing to happen that day. Who says you can't like knowledge and girls?
